Meet Leslie

Leslie Cooper Kirkland, a native of New Orleans, LA, is a graduate of Atlanta’s prestigious Clark Atlanta University. After working years in corporate America, it was not until Leslie became a wife, and instant mother, that she began to discover her true purpose and destiny.

Creator of “The Bonus Club, LLC,” Leslie was able, by her own personal experience of marrying a divorcée with children, to identify the need for a community of “bonus” parents and children, alike, to share stories and experiences along their journey of being a blended family.

Now having created a thriving social media community, followers from all over the world are able to interact with Leslie, via live conversations, blogs, vlogs, and now the exciting new “My Dope Blend” podcast.

Leslie has also made several guest appearances on podcasts, online interviews, and television.

As each day passes, it becomes more apparent of the need for conversations and sharing platforms on such an increasing topic regarding the modern day family unit. Having been blessed with two bonus daughters, and birthing two beautiful boys of her own, Leslie is reaching the hearts and lives of many; while impacting blended families everywhere.

Greg Kirkland, Jr. is an accomplished singer, songwriter, playwright, and Christian Minister. He and Leslie have been married for eight years, and he is the father of four. Including two beautiful daughters from a previous marriage.
